Named from Greek Mythology; "Adonis, loved by Aphrodite, killed hunting a boar, brought back from underworld by Zeus to Aphrodite, but only in summer - thus making the vegetation die in winter and blossom in summer". We feel the variety Adonicus Red brings the best of summer blossom.
