Liriope Pure Blonde is a perennial selected in Australia and has the ability to grow new foliage in a pure white color in certain period of the year. Really versatile and low maintenance plant, can be planted in areas from heavy shadow to full sun.

How can this be? Is the plant sick? Will it live? It is not sick, and it is very tough. It's a freak of nature. If you cut this plant back to the ground in late autumn, it will re-shoot pure blonde in march to april depending on where you live. The key to this plant is that it stays blonde for about 2 months and then it slowly turns green, which creates beautiful contrasts of colours on its own. In summer the leaves turn green to protect the plant of hot temperatures.
