A plant that grows originally as a shrub in container, but planted in the garden can develop to a pyramidal tree.The leaves comprise three leaflets with about 8 cm long. It flowers in creamy white in late spring and after flowering develop reddish decorative sepals.
Originally from Australia and Papua New Guinea, ceratopetalum is popular in cultivation due to its orange-red sepals produced around Christmas in this part of the world.
Pant in well drained soil to avoid rot-root fungus.
